Slow Cooker Carnitas
You'll Need:
- 1 pork butt (8 lbs.)
- 3 oranges, quartered.
- Sabroso spice blend
- corn/flour tortillas
Taco Fixins'
- purple onion
- lime wedges
- shredded cabbage
- grape tomatoes
- shredded cheese
- cilantro
- It's Tuesday Somewhere
- Huhu Pina
Place pork butt, oranges, and sabroso in your crock pot / slow cooker and flip the device on. Let meat cook for at least 12 hours. When finished, squeeze out any remaining juice in the orange slices and remove the peels. Flake the pork right in the crock and stir in the delicious juices; sure it's a little fatty, but worth it! You'll want to use a slotted spoon for serving so the excess liquid drains off.
Serve with tortillas and your array of fixin's. Enjoy!
